Breaking! Asaba High Court restrains APC NWC from submitting candidates list to INEC

A Federal High Court sitting in Asaba, Delta State has retrained the National Working Committee, NWC of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from submitting the list of all party candidates for the 2019 election from Delta State to the Independent National Electoral Commssion (INEC).

The presiding judge, Justice Toyin Adegoke, in her ruling, ordered the NWC not to submit any list of candidates for the 2019 general elections from Delta State from any of the two factions to INEC till the substantive suit filled is heard.

The Chief Cyril Ogodo led State Executive had filed a suit asking the court to restrain APC, Adams Oshiomhole and its agents from submitting the list of candidates from the Prophet Jones Erue faction to INEC.

N-Power monitors: Minister tenders apology, assures payment in 72hrs

Monitors of N-Power are expected to receive payments for the months of March and April, 2020 within the next 72 hours, while the process of May is on-going. N-Power: News of employment into FSC fake, should be disregarded- Ministry

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, has labelled as “fake news” trending stories on social media about the employment of N-Power beneficiaries into the Federal Civil Service (FCS) by President Muhammadu Buhari. Lawyer begs EFCC, AGF, others for intervention in alleged fraud
