El-Rufai, Abdusalami, others to commission renovated Hawthorn Suites and Hotels in Abuja

Kaduna State Governor, Malam El-Rufai Nasir, former Head of State, Abdusalami Abubakar and many dignitaries are expected to lead the delegation that will commission the newly renovated Hawthorn Suites and Hotels located at No.1 Uke Street, Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Garki, Abuja.

 Addressing Newsman Wednesday, alongside members of the management of the hotel, including the General Manager; Mr Amin Saad, Director of Sales; Bamishe Ogundare and the Project Director; Udhedhe Olakpe, the Managing Director of the hotel, Frank Aliyu, said that the hotel has been in existence for years, but recently underwent renovations in order to meet up with changing tastes and demands from customers.

 He said that the hotel was operating with the future in mind and that the hotel is always ready to offer value and services that is in tandem with modern requirements for operating a hotel that will meet up with international standards. "Today's conference is to let people know that Hawthorn Suites and Hotels is now officially open for business.

Many important personalities will be here on Sunday for the grand opening ceremony. We believe in Nigeria and everything about Hawthorn Suites and Hotels is about empowering people," he said.

 Also speaking, the Project Director of the hotel, Udhedhe Olakpe, said that the hotel has been offering employment opportunities to Nigerians of all categories and that the recent renovation has poised the hotel to give more people the opportunity for employment for the development of the country. Olakpe said that Made-in-Nigeria products that meets international standards were used in the construction of the hotel in order to encourage made-in-Nigeria products.

 "In order to encourage the economic development of the country, we made use of made-in-Nigeria products for the construction of the hotel. Moreover, the management of the hotel is largely made up of Nigerians, as we are looking inwards to promote Nigerian products and employment," she said.

Stop inflicting economic hardship on Ebonyians with tax demands, ex-SSG implores Umahi

Former Secretary to the State Government of Ebonyi State, Professor Benard Odoh, has implored the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, to desist from inflicting economic hardship on Ebonyians.
